My Journey with VAARI
Namaste! I am Vani, the heart behind VAARI Silks.
Sarees have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I admired the women around me, draped in elegance and strength. For us South Indians, sarees are not just attire—they are emotions woven with purity, grandeur, culture, and celebration.
For 26 years, I embraced my role as a homemaker, nurturing my family with love. Yet, within me was a quiet desire to build something of my own—something that reflected my passion while keeping me close to my family. In one heartfelt conversation, my daughter suggested, “Why don’t you start your own brand from home?” And that was the spark.
VAARI was born.
The name beautifully combines my name Vani and my daughter’s name Rithika, while also meaning water in Sanskrit. Just as water symbolizes flow and natural beauty, sarees from VAARI embody grace, elegance, and timeless charm.
Every saree in our collection is handpicked with love—authentic, traditional, yet affordable. They are more than drapes of fabric; they are weaves that empower women to feel confident, radiant, and deeply connected to tradition.
